Week 22, Photo a Day
Week 22
May 28 - June 3, 2013
What a(nother) busy busy week! We officially moved out of our apartment and back to the farm, (which consisted of very little sleep and a lot of hauling and cleaning), I acquired my new camera, we did a bunch of things that kept us busy on the farm (one of which involved a 1 am drive into town to the vet with a very sick dog, who stayed for a few days), we fished the entire day away one day, and we went to a rodeo.

Yay new camera!
Okay, so ideally I'd have film shots to show from this camera but I'm too impatient and just plain excited so I'll talk about it here! :D
So I've recently acquired an Asahi Pentax 67. Someone posted it for sale online for pickup in Edmonton, for a decent price (ordering it from ebay would have most likely been more pricey, based on the shopping around I've been doing). It was posted at the beginning of May and since before that I've been dying for one and didn't even think I'd be able to get one this year (school, and I hate shopping online, finances, etc. etc.). Talk about luck when I saw this posted! So it took me a month and lots of crossed fingers and toes hoping the guy wouldn't sell it before I could get money for it (I had May off and start work later in June). Branden offered money for it but I really wanted to buy it myself. Well, I finally had the money and we went to Edmonton to fetch it on Sunday and to my happy delight I got the 67 (I was expecting the 6x7 version) instead! With it the 105mm lens. I am so so excited to start producing images with this. I'm going to be very selective with what I shoot and I want each image to have meaning to me. Anywho, here she is!
