The Snow is gone!

Kayla came over again :) This time with her two pups (and also her brother, who stayed at the apartment playing video games while we enjoyed some sunshine). Look how different the field looks!

It Snowed!!

Wow, mid April and tons more snow! Yay for Canada. I was thrilled that I got the chance to go outside and get ome pictures in the snow, because at Christmas there was none!

Here are Kayla (white and blue), and Clarisse (white), and me! We set out for some quick fun pictures in the snow in the field right outside my place (which I am so grateful for). So here are our fun pictures! Check out the iPhone wallpaper I made for Branden at the end ;)

My Other Half

I'm grateful for him, oh, and my iPhone. For someone who's dating a photographer, he is not very....into getting his pictures taken. Thankfully, he puts up with me, and he is more relaxed when it's just my phone that I'm shoving in his face (to be fair, I get uneasy when my 5D mark ii is pointed at me too, so I don't blame him). So far this year I've been able to get lots of snaps of him.

Can't believe our five year anniversary is next month. FIVE YEARS. That's nearly a quarter of our lives spent together. It feels like just yesterday we were 17, where did time go? So grateful for all of it though. In the five years we've been dating we graduated high school, gone on to college and university, lived in 4 of our own apartments in the big city (a bit different than living with our 'rents in the bush), got two cats, and have had a ton of adventures!  I love this guy a ton, because he loves our kitties, he encourages me in my pursuits, he makes me laugh, and because he loves me too. Looking forward to the next five years!
